CPD Day for FSW 13th June 2015 – Bushcraft

A day of bushcraft for all Forest School practitioners
Only £25 a day for members of Forest School Wales (£35 for non members*)

FSW Bushcraft CPD flier 2015 – 13th June

2 instructors available to run short sessions on any of the following (let us know what you would be interested in particular – 4 sessions over one day)

  • Shelter Building
  • Backwoods Cookery
  • Hammock and Tarp Set Up
  • Camp Craft (wood carving)
  • Food Foraging.
  • Friction Fire Lighting (native fiddle)
  • Safety and Hygiene
  • Locating Water
  • Safe use of Cutting Tools
  • Cordage (nettle)

The course will be held at Wild Spirit Bushcraft, near Bridgend (full travel details on booking)

You will join experienced Forest School Practitioner and bushcraft specialist Sasha Ufnowska and colleagues for a day learning about bushcraft, and how it can be incorporated into Forest school sessions.

Tea, coffee provided, please bring your own lunch.

Continue the bushcraft experience overnight if you wish with wild camping on site
Shared tipi or individual bushcraft hammocks – £15 per person
Bring your own tent – £10

Both options include a lovely breakfast
Access to compost toilets and water (no showers).

There are only 16 places available so do book in advance. Age 16+
